Martin Struckmeyer (Germany)

Body Work

Martin Struckmeyer studied singing at the Leipzig School of Music and worked as a chorister at the theatres of Magdeburg, Halberstadt and Rostock. He subsequently decided to train as a voice and speech therapist according to the method of Clara Schlaffhorst and Hedwig Andersen, acquiring his diploma as a certified voice and speech therapist in 1998.

From 1999-2002 he was an instructor at the Frankfurt University for the Performing Arts, where he taught singers, actors and music teachers.

Since 2003 he has been instructor for diction and speech at the University for Music and Theater Rostock.

Martin Struckmeyer now maintains his own voice therapy studio in Berlin and has developed his own unique approach to working with singers and actors.
